Karoliina Tuomisto · Going abroad, continuous change, talks

§ E.01 · Where it begins

Going abroad often changes much more than just the job title.

§ E.02 · What change touches

A person's life doesn't pause for the contract period. It can't be put on hold.

When the environment changes fast, things start to surface in a person that they may never have had to face before. People react to change in very different ways and often surprise themselves in the process.

Travel alone doesn't create perspective. Real perspective begins when the world changes you too.

I've seen how international movement can open perspective, grow a person, and at its best make life bigger than before. I've also seen the other side: loneliness, cultural friction, constant adaptation and the quiet pressure of trying to hold everything together in an environment where old patterns no longer work.

That's exactly why I feel there needs to be more space for these conversations.

§ E.03 · Talks, conversations & facilitation

Talks tend to build around perspective, international thinking, change, courage and humanity.

Topics can include life between worlds, the comfort zone and the stalling of growth, expat identity, international thinking in leadership, and how perspective shapes business and life.

Instead of a talk, the format can also be a facilitated conversation or a workshop.

Every conversation, talk or coaching process is built around the people, the situation and the need.

§ E.04 · Coaching

Coaching can relate to expat readiness, relocation mindset, pre-departure coaching, support for partners and families, and international leadership.

Each engagement is built around the real situation of an individual, a family or an organisation.

§ E.05 · Let's begin

If you recognise this moment, let's talk.

For an individual, a family or an organisation.
